Holy Redeemer offers several spring sports, all of them are open for registration. All signups are handled online using the SportsPilot system. The link for SportsPilot registration is on the HR Athletics home page –https://www.hrathletics.com.
Baseball
Holy Redeemer Athletics will offer 3 teams in 2019. The first game is scheduled to take place on April 6, 2019. No games will be scheduled over Easter weekend. Registration fees are $150 per athlete. All teams will play in RBBA this season. For those not familiar with RBBA, please refer to their website www.rbba.org. the registration deadline is March 15th. - (2) 4th/5th RBBA Baseball – There will be two games each week – one on Tuesday or Thursday and one on Saturday. Optional batting practice is on Sundays.
- (1) 6th/7th/8th RBBA Baseball – There will be two games each week – one on Monday or Wednesday and one on Saturday. Optional batting practice is on Sundays.
Softball
Holy Redeemer Athletics will offer 2 teams in 2019. Based on demand, there will be 2 teams. The first game is scheduled to take place in early April. We will likely have an 8-game schedule. No games will be scheduled over Easter weekend. Practices will be held at Holy Redeemer. Exact days and times are not currently available. Games will take place on Friday evenings, Saturday or Sundays. Registration fees are $150 per athlete.

Soccer Clinic
The HR Preschool & Kindergarten Soccer Program will be held this spring on Saturday mornings on the turf field. JOIN THE FUN! Holy Redeemer parish children who attend any kindergarten, pre-kindergarten, 4-year old, or 3-year-old nursery school program are welcome to participate. The cost of this program is $40 which includes a t-shirt.
Clinic Dates and Times
April 6th, May 4th, May 11th & May 18th(no games scheduled April 13th – First Communion) Children in a 3-year-old nursery school program will play from 8:30-9:15 am. Children in a 4-year-old program, Pre-K, or Kindergarten will play from 9:30-10:15 am. This is a cooperative program, and everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate. Our parent volunteers are important to the success of the program. You do not need to be a soccer expert or an “athlete” to be part of the fun. CYO/HRAC Soccer
The 1st & 2nd Grade Soccer Program will be held Saturday afternoons on the turf field. Holy Redeemer parish children in 1st & 2nd grade are welcome to participate. The cost of this program is $50 which includes a t-shirt. Weekly 1-hour practice sessions (tbd) + Saturday games versus teams from other area parishes. Games will start in mid-April with breaks for First Communion and Memorial Day. Track & Field
Holy Redeemer Athletics will again be offering a spring program for children in the HR Parish, Grades K-8 (ages 6 and up). Athletes can participate in a range of track events including sprints and middle distance as well as field events including shot put, turbo javelin and long jump. We participate in the Columbus League (http://www.columbusleague.org/) and meets will be held on Sunday afternoons, beginning in late March. The first organizational meeting and practice will be March 19th at 6:00 pm at Holy Redeemer’s lower field. Parents’ help/participation is always appreciated either at practices or meets — especially for those with younger runners!
